Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm. Rehearsals will begin in January and are scheduled for Sunday 3-5pm, Tuesday and Thursday evenings 7-9pm at the theater.

About the Show
Originally produced in 1926, Sex is famous for being the play that landed 20s starlet Mae West in prison. Written by, and starring, West herself, the original Broadway run of the show was shut down for obscenity, and West spent 10 days in jail because of it.

Sex tells the story of Margy Lamont, a successful sex worker in Montreal’s red-light district. As she makes her way through the world, she makes it clear that her story is not that of a damsel in distress, but rather that of a woman looking to take control of her own life.

AVAILABLE ROLES:
Margy LaMont, a prostitute - does not require a Mae West imitation
Rocky Waldron, a pimp
Dawson, a Montreal officer of the law
Agnes, a prostitute
Lieutenant Gregg, a British Naval Officer

ABOUT THE SHOW
From the winner of the 2013 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival comes this story about friendship and the complex though essential role of women in wartime. Virginia Hascall has left her home and fiancé to become a Women Airforce Service Pilot, doing her part to help defeat the Axis powers in World War II. Through triumph and tragedy, Virginia and her sisters in flight suits learn as much about themselves as they do about airplanes. As the war rages over there, the women form a sisterhood that cannot be broken, and Virginia must make a decision that will change her life forever. With a cast of nine vibrant female characters, Decision Height offers a look into an under-recognized subset of American heroes.

ABOUT THE SHOW
Take three delicious, malicious wives, add three miserable, unloving husbands—and chill. That's the recipe of Michele Lowe's tantalizing new comedy that had Broadway audiences cheering. The Smell of the Killrevolves around Nicky, Debra and Molly who have tolerated one another during once-a-month dinners for years.

While their unseen spouses play golf in the dining room, the women exchange confidences for the first time revealing that all three marriages are on the brink of disaster and all three women are facing the challenges of their lives. Nicky's husband has been indicted for embezzlement, Molly's husband is stalking her and Debra's husband is leaving her for another woman.

When the men mistakenly lock themselves in a basement meat locker the women are faced with a life-or-death decision—should they leave the men out in the cold—permanently—or let them thaw? One by one the women make their choices with more than a little help from one another.

Comic fireworks explode in FARCE OF HABIT, an absurdly funny Southern-fried romp that takes us back to the Reel ’Em Inn, the finest little fishing lodge in the Ozarks. The proprietor, D. Gene Wilburn, is looking forward to a peaceful weekend on the lake. But there are only two chances of that happening: slim and none. Why, for example, has his wife, Wanelle, picked these three days to white-knuckle her way through caffeine withdrawal? Why is his son Ty’s marriage to Jenna falling apart so fast? Could it have something to do with the French can-can costume Ty is wearing? How on earth would D. Gene’s feisty sister, Maxie, allow herself to get caught up in such a bizarre undercover police assignment? And that’s just his family.

If this isn’t enough to thwart D. Gene’s weekend plans, he’s got a gaggle of nuns who’ve converged on the Inn, hell-bent on experiencing a nature retreat—which might be tolerable if D. Gene didn’t have a chronic fear of anything in a habit. Add to this the presence of Jock McNair, a nationally known relationship guru whose colossal ego threatens everyone’s sanity; a shy retiree anxious to cut loose and embrace his “inner caveman” and a couple of wild women who may or may not be who they claim to be. Throw in the storm of the century that’s fast bearing down on Mayhew, Arkansas, and D. Gene has no prayer of baiting a hook any time soon. Oh, and did we mention there’s an axe murderer on the loose?

We are seeking 3 men and 4 women. No Appointments are necessary.
Rehearsal schedule TBA.

In a festive mood, the ladies of the Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society mount another assault on the classics with their stage version of A Christmas Carol. They enthusiastically portray a dizzy array of characters from the Dickensian favorite (and a few which aren't), engineer some novel audience participation while bravely contending with an intrusive PA system and a real Farndale first rap their vocal cords and feet around two original, show stopping songs.

About the Show:
It all started when Delores, an unhappy housewife, and George, a shoe salesman, met at Shoe Fantasy and it was love at first shoe-fitting. The only thing standing in the way was Delores' doting but half-witted husband, Marvin, who would never agree to a divorce. So, there was only one thing left to do—kill Marvin so they can run off together and live a carefree life of passion and romance in a tropical paradise. The lovers come up with a crazy plan to poison Marvin over dinner.

Delores invites George to dinner and introduces him to Marvin as a new friend. While Marvin checks on dessert, they slip poison into his wine. But things get out of hand when Marvin doesn't fall for the bait. What was supposed to be a simple foolproof murder turns into a hilarious fiasco when Esperanza, the eccentric Spanish-speaking maid, arrives on the wrong day and she, too, falls for George. Now George and Delores must devise a way to get rid of the lovesick Esperanza and carry out their plan to kill Marvin—that is without killing each other first!

About the Show:
It’s opening night, and master playwright William Shakespeare, theatrical diva Sarah Bernhardt and the indelible intellectual Constantine Stanislavsky lead you on a wild and wacky journey through the history of theatre from Aristophanes to Emile Zola.

This crazy cast of characters will transport you back in time as we relive the various elements of theatre from all parts of the globe. Explore the beginnings of Greek theatre, Aristotle’s Poetics, the fine art of Kabuki, the history of mime, the gladiators of Rome and speculation on the real author of Shakespeare’s plays.

Along the way, the bumbling Shakespeare misquotes himself, Sarah Bernhardt can’t get over the sound of thunderous applause and Stanislavsky gets blown out of a cannon when someone says the name of “the Scottish play” in the theatre!

Through a little perseverance and commedia dell’arte, the famous trifecta attempt to hold the show together, but when the producer appears onstage, things only get worse when the cast finds out they are trapped in a play within a play.

With time running out on the theatre’s rental agreement, the trifecta pays homage to the world’s best-known and beloved plays and musicals by alluding to dialogue from Edward Albee, Bertolt Brecht, Samuel Beckett, Noël Coward, Anton Chekhov, Caryl Churchill, Henrik Ibsen, Arthur Miller, David Mamet, Harold Pinter, Sarah Ruhl, Sam Shepard, Neil Simon, August Strindberg, August Wilson, Thornton Wilder, Andrew Lloyd Weber, Oscar Wilde and many more all performed at breakneck speed.

Near the play’s end, the cast realizes that the playwright hasn’t written an ending, wherein our iconic celebrities are forced to seek the audience’s help in finding a creative conclusion to the show.

A young lovesick Romeo Montague falls instantly in love with Juliet Capulet, who is due to marry her father’s choice, the County Paris. With the help of Juliet’s nurse, the women arrange for the couple to marry the next day, but Romeo’s attempt to halt a street fight leads to the death of Juliet’s own cousin, Tybalt, for which Romeo is banished.
