ABOUT THE SHOW

In a festive mood, the ladies of the Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society mount another assault on the classics with their stage version of A Christmas Carol. WHO'S WHO

MICHAEL P.M. CALABRESE (Gordon) returns to the Phoenix stage after appearing the the premiere of THE MEMORY BOX.  Other stage credits include FEMALE TRANSPORT, THREE MURDERS AND IT’S ONLY MONDAY, JACOB MARLEY’S XMAS CAROL, COVER OF LIFE, and DEATH BY FATAL MURDER and several One Act Plays throughout PSC festivals. Michael is the technical producer for TAKE FLIGHT LIVE, the Phoenix Stage Company podcast. Directing credits include KINKY BOOTS, THE ADDAMS FAMILY and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST with Landmark Community Theater. Thank you to Aric and to all the folks who continue to support local community theater.
AMBER-LYNN DUNPHY (Louise) – is thrilled to return to PSC after a brief hiatus. Last seen in “VARNEY…” last year, Amber is excited to be working with such a talented cast and crew. Previously seen in her dream role of The Beggar Woman/Lucy in SWEENEY TODD at PSC, Amber has also performed and directed at the Thomaston Opera House, Seven Angels Theatre, and several other local theatres. Love to her mom, her BFF EB and her girls, and in memory of her dad.
CHEYENNE WALENT (Mercedes) returns to the Phoenix Stage after appearing in the premiere production of THE CAYUGA CANAL GIRLS. Stage Credits include Betty in THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK CHRISTMAS MUSICAL, Fiona in ONE HIT WONDER with Landmark Community Theater. The Chaperone in Goshen Players’ DROWSY, Mrs. Phelps in MATILDA, Paulette in LEGALLY BLONDE, Penelope Pennywise URINETOWN and Rona Lisa Peretti in 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE. All my love to Phyllis and the tribe I hold closest for their never-ending love and support!
MISSY COWAN (Thelma) returns to the Phoenix stage after appearing in IF THE SHOE FITS as Delores. Stage credits include VAR­NY THE VAMPIRE (Signora Belle), RUMORS (Chris), THE REAL PROBLEM (Juliet) and SHIVERING SANTA (Merry Mistletoe) with CTAW. SER­VANT OF TWO MASTERS (Beatrice) and SAGA OF THE PROSPECTOR’S DAUGH­TER (Miss Clydesdale) with Washington Dramatists. Thank you to my family and friends for always showing up. It has been so much fun working with this talent­ed group of actors, director, stage manager and crew. “Bah Humbug” is code for Merry Christmas everyone and best wishes for the new year!
HEATHER GRAHAM (Felicity) returns to the PSC stage after a long absence You might remember Heather from past PSC productions; KILL ME DEADLY (Veronica Clairmont & Lady Mary), MURDER AT THE PROP TABLE (Lynn), MURDERED TO DEATH (Elizabeth) HARVEY (Nurse Kelly) or DRINKING HABITS (Sally). I’m delighted to again be a part of another masterpiece at the theater!
GRETCHEN ZIEGLER (Mrs. Reece) is thrilled to be making her Phoenix Stage Company debut in her dream role of Tiny Tim (as interpreted by Phoebe Reece). Recent credits include THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL (Karen the Computer) and THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHTTIME (Voice One) at the Warner, and IT'S ONLY A PLAY (Julia Budder) and THE ADDAMS FAMILY (Alice Beineke) with Landmark Community Theatre. She extends many thanks to the cast and crew for all their hard work, and to her friends and family for their continued support.
